An It Works distributor scammed our 13-year old daughter through Instagram message to sign up for the 90 day period. Her Instagram account they solicited is obviously for a middle school girl. We’re having trouble canceling the service, and am looking to see if this is a problem and if there are possible class action lawsuits pending for this predatory behavior.

Product or Service Mentioned: It Works Distributor.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

I don't know about class action lawsuits, since It Works explicitly states in their policies and procedures (Section 3.22) that you're not allowed to order their products unless you're at least 18 years old and the company itself abides by that policy. You might be able to file a lawsuit against the Distributor who violated the minimum age policy, though.I'd definitely recommend contacting the It Works Compliance Department about this to report the incident, and they should be able to work with you to get your daughter's account canceled. You can reach them at compliance@itworksglobal.com, just be aware that it can take them up to 24-48 business hours to respond once you contact them.
