I told a friend of mine that I'd try this Green Chews product as a favor to her. I told her that I would authorize one single 30 dollar purchase as I gave her my credit card number.

Imagine my surprise when all of the sudden monthly charges of 34.70 started showing up, followed by ANOTHER bag of green chews. The product is nice tasting, although that's all that I can say about it. Definitely NOT worth the kind of money they're charging. I called IT WORKS!

to attempt to stop the deliveries. I was put on hold for a prolonged period, then told if I wanted to stop the shipments I'd have to pay a 50 dollar membership fee, or take a third delivery for 34.70.

When I told this woman I didn't want either, I was put on forever hold. I'm pissed about these people and disappointed in my "friend" for putting me in this situation

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $68.

Rip off I order the hair, skin and nail pills I got a reaction from them because I take other meds. I tried to cancel my order and they told me I had to pay $50.00 to cancel.

I asked them before I order if I had to cancel would it be a problem because of the other meds that I take and they said no. Now they said I had to get a doctor note to prove that it was their product.


I was receiving the product monthly as a favor to a friend who is a distributor, but didn't see any gain from it after several months so I called to cancel. I expected a runaround, but they cancelled me and gave me a reference number for the cancellation.

Long as I don't get another bag or bill, I'm satisfied that it's over.


Your friend was misinformed and should have told you he signed you up for a 3 month loyal customer program , which after the 3 months there would have been no cancellation fee. It works is a great company with alotnof good healthy products


I had a similar thing happen to me. I never signed an agreement so did not know about the $50 charge until I told my "friend" I didnt like the product and wanted to stop the shipments.

I called customer service. they said they couldnt do anything about it (this was after an extremely long hold). I was mad. i didn't sign an agreement, didn't know about the fee and overall didn't like the product.

I finally got a supervisor on the phone who cancelled my order. No refunds. Just cancelled. Look at the reviews for their products.

Not worth the money. The Greens score 3.7 out of 10.

Probiotics score 1 out of 5. Can't find anything rating the chews.


You shouldn't be mad at the company. You should be mad at your "friend".

She signed you up as a loyal customer. It clearly states in the agreement that you will purchase something from the company for 3 months or be charged a $50 cancellation fee. If you did not agree to that, then your friend screwed you over. If you checked yes on the form then you have nobody to blame but yourself.

Ironically you bad mouthed the product yet gave no reason as to why. Why was it not worth it?

What was the result you were expecting and how was it different than the actual results? I clicked on the link to this page expecting to see an actual review and all I read was someone complaining and bad mouthing a company when they didn't do anything wrong.

I'm sorry that you had such a terrible experience with "It works". I can imagine your surprise and frustration with the charges as well as your friend.

These products do work and are amazing. The situation you experienced was due to your friends lack of information to you. She knows their is no way to get an LC discount without doing a membership fee or 3 month supply of any product of your choice.

I respect your opinion of "it works" even if I don't agree.

I hope that if you should ever want to try the products again you get a more knowledgable distributed. We are out there!

I had a similar situation. I couldn't keep up with using the products before the next shipment.

However, I was able to change the order myself. When your "friend" set up your auto shipment, the company sends you your customer number. Check you email, maybe it's in your spam. Use the number to login to the It Works website.

From there, you can cancel the shipment.

I agree $30 dollars is steep. But, several doctor visits to diagnose and treat IBS problems are even steeper.

It's not the company's fault if your friend signed you up without telling you about the agreement. If you explain that you were signed up by your distributor and not made aware of the agreement, they will help you.


your "friend" probably signed you up in the loyal customer plan which is a three month commitment to buy at least on product. There is a $50 cancellation fee if you don't complete the three months. your friend should have told you this, not the companies fault you were misinformed.


I find it funny how many times I have read about this issue....Distributor not telling people about the 3 month autoshipments. Horrible!!!
